This new, stylish apartment with fully equipped kitchen has amazing water views. A few minutes walk from fab coffee and boutiques. On cooler days relax by the romantic gas log fire or indulge in a hot bath in your spacious ensuite. Pets welcome. Adjoining second bedroom available if more than 2 guests.
Sooo close to the beach... Wonderful views.. Enjoy a glass of wine on the front deck overlooking the beach only metres away. Stroll into town ... We are VERY close to it! The main front bedroom/living area of this downstairs apartment is quite spacious. It has a dining table to seat 2 comfortably or 4 cosily! The small kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, good sized fridge and microwave. Indulge in a relaxing bath in the luxurious ensuite with soft lighting. Book the second rear adjoining bedroom for a couple of kids or large fur child. If you are good friends and don't mind they have to walk through your bedroom to exit the dwelling book it for two other friends. In winter relax by the gas log fire while watching the waves. Lovely outdoor table out the front from which to watch the ocean.
A simple breakfast of cafe style fruit loaf and butter is provided plus of course tea, coffee and milk!
The apartment has its own private street access and is not shared with others - unless you want to book an adjoining second bedroom (which shares your bathroom) for extra guests or large fur child. Please note that people in the second bedroom must go through the front main bedroom/living area to exit the building. We have a fenced area for dogs but to access this you must book for 3 adults or more ie 2 bedrooms..giving you access to the door to the rear fenced yard. Anyone with pets must notify us and bring $250 as cash which will be returned to them on departure if there been no damage.
We also allow young children to share the main bedroom and sleep on the sofa bed for an extra $35 per child a night but you must notify us of this when you book.
Interaction With Guests
As much or as little as guests wish. We respect guest privacy and understand many people want to just get away from it all. Our living area and bedroom is upstairs and to the rear of the property. This apartment was purpose built to provide sound insulation for the apartment.
Sometimes we won't even be around. There is key lock and we always have people on hand to help if you have any problems.
Other Things to Note
This apartment is adjoined to our own home but it has its own private entrance and is completely separate to it. There's a fenced area for dogs if you book for 3 adults and consequently gain access to the second adjoining rear bedroom.
The best place to park is on the spare block to the left of the building but feel free to unload your things temporarily in the driveway or on the street in front.
Check in time is any time after 2 pm. Please note the supermarket here is quite expensive and closes at 7 30 pm and take aways and restaurants
by 8 30. You may get pizza till about 9. Wonthaggi has Aldi, Safeway, Coles and fast food outlets. We can only recommend Tomos Japanese restaurant for evening meals (Black Sheep is also getting good reviews at present) although there are several great cafes for breakfast and lunch - Beach Box cafe for beach atmosphere, Vaughans overlooks a car park but has good food, RACV resort for amazing views and buffet breakfast - check their mid week breakfast specials.
Acoustic insulation means there is very little noise transfer between the apartment and our own area which is upstairs and more to the rear of the dwelling.
