Built in 1912, The Inn at Haines is a historic home located in the heart of downtown Haines, Alaska. Formerly the Summer Inn, under new ownership as of March 2017 with renovations showcasing vintage charm with a fresh new look! The house was built 100 years ago by Tim Vogel, a member of Skagway’s notorious Soapy Smith gang and a colorful character in the history of Haines.
Four guest rooms on the property are vintage in style but full of plush linens and pillows, free wifi, and a private access. The views from the Inn are wondrous in every direction with Lynn Canal, the Chilkat Mountains and the historic Fort Seward; as well we are walking distance to the harbor, museums, restaurants, breweries, and galleries of Haines.
